Argentine importers managed their entire operation in spreadsheets — cost calculations with complex tax structures, supplier contacts, collaborator assignments, payment tracking. One Excel file per operation, shared over email, no single source of truth. Errors compounded, nothing was auditable.

A web app that centralizes the full import operation lifecycle. Cost calculators that handle Argentine tax and duty structures, supplier management, collaborator assignments with role-based access, payment tracking, and PDF report generation for clients and customs.
Decisiones Técnicas
The client's internal team was .NET-only with no JavaScript experience. Blazor let us build a full interactive web app without introducing a separate frontend stack, framework, or toolchain — one language, one team.
Importers need detailed cost reports to share with clients and for customs documentation. QuestPDF gives fully programmatic PDF generation in .NET — no Word templates, no manual formatting, no LibreOffice dependency.
Latest .NET for performance and long-term support. PostgreSQL for relational data — operations, suppliers, costs, and payments all have clear relationships that benefit from a proper schema and foreign keys.
Resultado
Delivered and in active production use. Replaced the client's Excel-based workflow entirely. Cost calculation and report generation went from hours of manual work to a few clicks.
